a good 10 weeks should be minimum for maximum gains ,although i would recomment 12.

LOL, no , i found 6 weeks on proper 5 x 5 and i hit a platau.

hi mate, well ive switched to training RAW - basicly as an excuse to lift a little less !!!

however,ive had some of the best workouts recently.

im probably at 180/145/220 at the mo - about 10% down

of course there are other things to be taken into consideration tooCool

235kg deadlift - i was so nervous because i had problems hitching, but it flew up, i was very relieved to finish my first comp with 9/9!!!

3 x 195kg squat - at adlington alan suggested i go for this, i was nervous as 185 was my previous 1rm

157.5kg benchpress , again at adlington, a 15kg PB.

I got big and very fat and i am now paying the price with regulated eating and cardio sessions-a-plenty , next time i compete i dont wanna be a porker

no point puttin on too much fat, its not much use and the offers of casual dogging sessions dry up pretty fast.

yea, olly , i was offered both by my mate at work ho seems to want to watch everything as its being filmed !!

lol, i kinda enjoy watching it when its on,cheeky sky,nicking prison break, they should have had the balls to pick up season one instad of theiving it !!!
