weighed in at 82kg

82.5kg weight class, teens, first comp ever

Squat

1st lift - 140kg nice and quick, easy
2nd lift - 155kg joint pb, very easy still
3rd lift - 165kg pb, still easy, gutted i couldnt go for more

Bench

1st lift - 115kg again easy
2nd lift - 130kg FAILED (british record attempt, failed on lockout, must have lifted 70/80%, gutted cos ive done this in training easily Unhappy )
3rd lift - 130kg FAILED (same story Unhappy )

Deadlift

1st lift - 150kg FAILED, lifted very easily, forgot to wait til he said down
2nd lift - 160kg easy
3rd lift - 180kg PB (BRITISH RECORD) Grin

Total - 460kg

first place in teens 82.5kg class

With a new pb in squat and deadlift i am very happy, especially with the british record. Gutted about bench, as ive pressed 135 in training and done 130 paused to command numerous time.

But, oh well first come, (i think i qualified), and i got a british record

Set up on 160 held for 10 seconds and re racked. Doing some core training

Last training session before comp. Feel good and ready. Only trained powerlifting for 7 and a half weeks so I'm quite happy

Didn't feel great beforehand as my tendons in both my shoulders and elbows were irritating me.

180 FAIL (best attempt yet, broke the floor with it, will definitely go soon

finished with some light lat pull downs and some dumbbell rowing and dumbbell curls

4 singles on my pb not too bad, happy with this Happy

i think 180 is defo there in the comp
