Injured and out of the game for abit.
Done some thing to lower back on left hand side hoping its just deep muscle tear.

Give it a week or so rest then gonna ease back into it with dips and pull ups.

Not happy now, but what can you do
» 305kg Raw Squat 342.5kg Deadlift (Go to post)22-11-2010 @ 20:33
Massive total
» My World Record Beating Deadlift Video 350kg (Go to post)22-11-2010 @ 12:02
Tom Martin pulled 771.6lbs to better Ed Coan's long standing IPF junior world record (766lbs at 181.8lbs bodyweight in Dallas, 1984). The lift took place at the GBPF/BUCS British University Championship. It is currently unknown whether the record will be counted as an official world record as it was not an international competition.

From Tom Martin's training log:
Report from today.
Woke up weighing 82.5 spot on. No food or drink till weigh in then...
Somehow after standing around for a couple hours waiting to weigh in, I lost 0.6kg. Weighed in at 81.9kg.
Squat:
Just got my suit on straight away, warmed up with 110 - 170 - 220, then out on to the platform.
250kg - 2 to 1 against on depth. I'll let you judge from the video, but it wasn't even borderline it was well in...
250kg - 3 whites. I just sat on the floor to make sure I wouldn't have to do it again.
My elbows actually went lower than my legs it was that low...
Bench Press:
Warmed up with 60kg then 100kg to 3 board, 140kg to 1 board then off to the platform.
150kg - 2 to 1, good lift. Piss easy, but touched too low apparently?
Again, judge for yourself from the video.
Deadlift:
Warmed up with 70kg - 200kg - 250 kg then off to the platform.
300kg - So so fast...
342.5kg - Well I wanted 340.5 but they didn't have the record plates.
Tough lockout, but got it!
350kg - I really didn't think I could do this. The plan was 348kg, but again, no record plates. It actually felt easier than 342.5, I think I was in a slightly better position. I was starting to shake by this point though, as I always do on my 3rd deadlift.
Anyway, whatever, I got it!
