Looking at going down to the Manchester one. Is it on both Saturday & Sunday then?

EVENTS OPEN:
• Wagon pull or bus fastest time wins 20 meter course
• 190kg shield carry 25meter course for distance
• Wagon tyre dead lift on Olympic bar starting weight will be 260kg as many lifts in
90secs
• Log press 115kg as many presses as possible in 90 secs
• Atlas stones 140kg x 2 on to platform as many lifts in 90 secs
• Farmers walk 130kg in each hand 25meter course fastest time wins

EVENTS NOVICE
• Wagon pull or bus fastest time wins 20 meter course
• 100kg digger bucket carry 25meter course for distance
• Wagon tyre dead lift on Olympic bar starting weight will be 220kg as many lifts in
90secs
• Log press 90kg as many presses as possible in 90 secs
• Atlas stone 110kg x 2 on to platform as many lifts in 90 secs
• Farmers walk 100kg in each hand 25meter course fastest time wins

Me Wink I will definitely be doing one of the quailiers for this. Deadlift, farmers and log should be good events for me, so give it a bash Grin

I'm thinking of maybe doing the novice, but thinking it might be a bit cheeky since I've already been in SSM. What do you guys reckon?

personally i think you can choose - you would do well in the novices, and get nailed in the opens, but both would be great fun in their own way Grin

I bet there would be a bunch of novice level guys who are in a similar boat than you strength wise, so you would have equal competition there for sure. Your deadlift rocks though!

im going to go and get gravel f**ked in the opens, did the novice last year and got pissed on in the final but it seems wrong to be doing the novice now ive done a few comps.

Hi, does anyone know, 1) if there is a rope to pull on bus pull? 2) are straps allowed on the deadlift? 3) how high are the platforms for the atlas stones?

last year there was no rope on the truck pull mate
