you still did nail a most excellent time

Thanks Mr Boar, well this year has almost passed by and I most certainly did not get my mojo back I have been beset by problems injuries physical marital mental and probably imaginary alongside falling off the wagon......

I have had a couple of false starts where i would train a couple of days but then not again for several weeks I have done 6 consecutive days now on the rower 10minute sessions at for a peak me a pathetic pace BUT i have done them. The difficulty i face is enthusiasm for training without becoming obsessed.

To celebrate my 6th day I did a 500m 1.38.9 33spm not totally all out but hard enough for a skinny fat old man.

In other news I bought an acoustic guitar earlier in the year and discovered i have no rhythm and am tone deaf also i make Bob Dylan sound like the worlds best singer.

Good seasonal wishes to anybody stopping by.

Hi to the 50up crew.

I have made it to the gym a couple of times.

Plan is to try for a few sessions on the rower a week nothing longer than 20minutes, to keep the dread down and a session or 2 of lightweights high reps.

today 500m on the erg 137.1

if i can get within 10seconds of my pbs (per 500m) i will be happy enough.

I FOUND TALKING ABOUT IT HAS HELPED EVEN THOUGH AS YET I HAVE NOT ORDERED ANY SUPPLEMENTS.

must check out healer labs. golden retriever with a stethoscope.

IT WAS DAMN CLOSE THOUGH.

Watching is probably better than listening.
Hope the marathon goes well.

Last few months i have been doing a bit of benching every 3 or 4 days just 20/30 minute sessions at the start of the year i was struggling for a couple of reps with 100 (i did 30 reps with that about 3 years ago)

Today as i start my 'ALPHA STACK'' I decided to test my max 137.5kg for a hard-fought single, pretty happy with that my goal is simply too keep lifting and improve my max a little.

In other news the open mic night i went to has closed down!!!!!!! is it just a coincidence?

So last night I went to a local folk club, do a song then wait aN HOUR FOR ALL THE BEARDIES TO DO THEIRS then do another song.

I got a polite round of applause (as did everybody) is Jimi Hendrix folk? if its acoustic is it folk? the organiser of the club did remark they don't get much Hendrix there lol!

THANKS, i went back back to folk club this week did 3 songs got asked to play at Melton Folk Festival in August. Now the thought of that is terrifying!!!!!

yesterday bench

120x4
120x3
120x3
120x2

a little bit of progress, as one ages you can loose it a lot faster than you can get it back. Have been on the alpha stack for 3 weeks now has it made a difference? Too soon to call really I guess i have tried a little harder to train more and booze less.
