Cheers mate, we're all here to help each other, really helps me as i have no training partners and lift in my shed lol!

Hope you have a good christmas mate! I've made a start on my 'rest' by opeing the tin of roses chocs under the tree lol!

Indeed mate that's whats good about this forum the amount of helpful people like yourself. I was the same and always normally training by myself until starting training at home and my brother has started to take an interest so luckily have got a training partner.

Same to you bud! Enjoy your rest which is well deserved after the sessions you put in.

30 min run/jog this morning, felt nice to be out actually, going to try get more cardio in in the New year and i think quite possibly hit a carb backloading diet for a change up, my body thrives on change.

Well unfortunately the stress and lack of sleep has caused my re-occuring cold to come back with a vegnance, felt like crap this morning but wanted one last session in!

Comp Grip TNG Bench Press -75 sec rests

75kg x 5
75kg x 5
105kg x 2
105kg x 2
115kg x 1
125kg x 1
95% 1rm of 145kg
137.5kg x 1
137.5kg x 1
137.5kg x 1
137.5kg x 1
137.5kg x 1

Left it there, need to re set as not much more in the tank, i'll drop back to 125-130kg next time for 15-20 singles and build back up again until i hit 140kg x 5-10 singles then go for 150kg. Enough for today.

Dead Stop Bench Press, Comp Grip - 60 sec rests

115kg x 3
125kg x 1
140kg x 1 PB
93% 1rm of 140kg
130kg x 1
130kg x 1
130kg x 1

Suprisingly strong today, the 140 moved ok, more there when feeling 100% no doubt, the 130's were fast.

Fast easy work, as it should be.

Strength shop Ballista Bench Press

Threw these in at the end just to see if i can set it up better, felt ok but prefer my band slinshot more tbh, fast and easy tho.

Thats it, resting and eating for a week now! Try to shake off this cold and these niggles and re set next week for a big build up!

Well i've been sick as a dog over xmas so was probably been useful to have had a week off lifting. I've been on a steady diet of booze, cough medicine and xmas food stuffs! Starting to feel a bit better and had a 30 minute walk/jog this morning and it cleared my head a bit, carrying extra weight from all the crap but its mainly water, back on normal diet now so should drop off quickly.



I have all my routines worked out and written in new training diary to begin monday, few things tweaked and few things re set, nuch the same otherwise. Missed my sessions but been so sick i couldn't have done them anyway! Try and shakes this illness over the weekend....then it begins!
