Thanks Stephen and Weige, lifting these weights at the lighter bodyweight circa 88kg does have its drawbacks: recovery & niggles and preinjury niggles, paid for the deads on sat with partially locked mid errectors, and yesterdays squats with mild sciatica down RHS glute, also been getting knee pain and elbow pain on and off, nothing to cushion the joints no bodyfat or water retention, need to eat properly again and get back up to at least 93kg again, now I'm changing to a less stressful job should be possible to focus more on eating properly! With the proper cushioning this wll protect my ligaments, joints and tendons etc and make me more robust to the heavier lifting.

Congrats on the new job. I'm more than sure that with the less stressful job will come much better health and faster recovery. You taking ano oils or glucosamine for the joints?

Sat 12/05/12 Cheers Marc and Nick!
Deadlift: 120kgx5, 170kgx4, 220kgx3,warmups felt good so went 260kgx1 fast, 280kgx1 flew up, what next I thought as have already done 290 weeks ago so gambled! 300kgx1 finally nailed, it was fast to just above the knees then stalled felt like time stood still fought it out to lockout, small minor twinge in LHS errector nothing really.
Standing presses: 60kgx8, 80kgx6 rep pb! There would've been another rep or two if core wasn't fried just went 80kgx5 to finish

Thanks Nick and carlin, the left errector is tender today have had to do deep tissue massage on it to loosen it, should be fine in a couple of days I reckon. I picked the right day to go for it and it paid off, through more experience have gained a better understanding of what my body responds to. Going to back off heavy pulling for a while and try to focus more on the squat and press whatever moves along quicker!
