Training today:

Log press (1st rep cleaned, belt):

60kg x 3
70kg x 3
80kg x 2
90kg x 2
100kg x 4 PB

2" Axle clean and press (power cleaned):

60kg x 3
70kg x 2

Wrists were still f**ked from saturday so I left it there.

Bench press:

100kg x 3
110kg x 2
120kg x 1
120kg x 3

Feels good to be back log pressing. Tried some power cleans with the axle but it didnt feel comfortable and my wrists were knackered from saturday so I ditched it and did some...BENCH!!!!! *spits* I havent done any bench with an oly bar for well over a year. Im used to getting a little pop from my core with my overhead pressing so it felt strange pressing completely strict again. Will perhaps include it once in while for a change.

18" Deadlift (belt):

200kg x 3
220kg x 2
240kg x 1
260kg 4 x 1

22cm Box Squat (belt):

120kg x 3
140kg x 2
160kg 6 x 1


Didnt feel like pulling up any trees today so I didnt go too heavy. Back is still a bit knackered from last weekend.

good ld cardio session there, do you do and medleys when you do event training?

Yeah it gets me blowing hard and i think doing the light log presses have helped me find my groove when doing the heavier stuff. Ive never really done any medleys in my training and I know I should be really. What do you think would be a good combination? Ive got a yoke, farmers, 100kg sandbag and a 65kg keg available to me.
