I'm definitely not a monster! Grin

This is the pick of today, 120kg low hang clean. Working on the pull and receive, which were good. The recovery not so good, should have sat at the bottom and adjusted. No matter, good lift.

Paused squat to 130kg x 3 PB
Push press to 110kg x 3 PB
Pendlay row to 100kg x 5 PB

Pretty good, feeling rotten with a cold so happy with that.

Finally worked out how to squat pain free, by sitting on my heels for 2 or 3 seconds, it allows my quad to glide and relax thus taking the pressure off my tendons, allowing me to use them properly concentrically. So weights will be down for a while I suppose, but if it means I can squat pain free while I work on the tissue quality in my quads I'm happy.

Push press was good, last rep was a real battle!

Hip snatch + low hang snatch to 70kg
Snatch to 85kg

Pretty good, still full of cold and matched my current best from the floor with a sharper rep. Happy with that.

Today is also my shoulderversary, 12 months to the day.

Front squat - paused to 120kg x 5 PB
Push press to 100kg x 5
Pull ups to BW+25kg x 5 PB

Feeling a bit better today so glad to do a bit of training, especially half decent stuff like this!

Squatting was pain free again, it isn't ideal to be pausing everything, but it's helping with positioning, allowing my quads to work properly and means I can at least do some squats while I work on my tissue quality. So all in all pretty happy.
