Stronger than you look ?

Anyone else get a kick out of being Stronger than you look?

I'd say I look stronger than I am.

Whenever I put 140kg on the bar people are looking at me expecting me to be squatting it. When I press it I get some nods of approval.

So bit like the same thing really I guess.

I shouldn't be so fat though haha

I can't really comment, as I am as weak as I look!

Compated to most gym inhabitants yes.

I would rather that way than look big and and muscular and lift f all.

lol I was helping a patient stand up and someone said, 'be careful not to hurt your back'. Sometimes I just want to turn around and say, 'I can lift more than the heaviest rated hoist in this f**king hospital'.

Its good for the surprise factor, but looking only a bit bigger than your average bloke is kind of annoying.

I am both stacked and strong as f**k so I can't help with this thread.

Female boss needed a few guys to help move some large kegs. I just picked two full ones up with each hand before she could mutter anything.

This applied more when I was 12 stone. I've always had a decent level of strength. A woman once got a tall thin bloke to change the water bottle on a water dispenser because she didn't think I could lift it. When nobody was looking I held it out at arm's length with one arm
