Started training again about 3 months ago, done mostly bodybuilder type training up till now bit of strength now and then but never consistantly, decided I want to try my hand at strongman but just going to focus on the big 3 and perhaps try a novice strongman comp later in the yearStats

Current PB's
Deadlift 240kg x 1
Squat 100kg x 5 (just started squating)
Bench press 100kg x 6
Strict press 70kg x 8
push press 100kg x 1 (just started doing it)

Here was todays session, was bollaxed but usually do barbell rows as well.Deadlifts
100kg x 8, 140kg x 5, 180kg x 1, 210kg x 1, 230kg x 1, 240kg x 1 - Previous PB was 210 x 3 so well chuffed.
Reverse grip pulldown
70kg x 8, 90kg x 5 x 5 x 5
barbell curl
40kg x 8 x8 x8

nice deadlift mate !! always good to get a PB ...

Had a look and can't see any novice comps in the midlands, not a great area to live for strongman or powerlifting

Doing 1rm's this week.Bench press
60kg x 8 x 8, 100kg x 2, 120kg x 1, 130kg x? - noob spotter wouldn't take his hands of the bar so can't claim it, think it would have gone up solo though
Standing OHP
60kg x 8, 80kg x 4 + 1 push press - must be good for nearly 100kg with fresh triceps
Incline dumbell bench
20kg x 12 x 12 x 12
Pec deck
50kg x8 x8 x8
