squats 60x8, 100x5 155x5 172x1 175x1 130x20
log 45x6 80x5 85x1 87x1 55x20

20 rep squats were the easiest of the week kind of zoned out at 12 then before I realised were at 19.

Haven't trained today as I`ve had to dad taxi my daughter all over plan for tomorrows.

bench, rows,chins, 1 hr insanity then the yorkshires events in the afternoon.

found a flaw in the routine when I hit 20 on the last set supposed to increase the first sets by 2.5 kg and the last by 5kg. After a while the 20 rep weight could potentially overtake the others. think after 3 weeks I`ll use my 5 rep weight to estimate a 1rm and start again.

Half teh kids at work assume I must be good at fighting cos im hench (90kg Confused Confused Confused ) and once had a guy persistently hassle me for an arm wrestle in a club in end I gave up and let him push my arm down the woman he was trying to impress realised he was a tit and walked off.

They have found the you tube videos unfortunately it's the anvil incident and the sniper on the frame Carry they seem to find.

Had a week off then been on holiday for 2 weeks so detrained hoping it will rapidly increase. It never got back to my previous 160 after my impinged shoulder think it maxed around 145.

backs been brilliant since yesterdays click hen chinning, busy morning cutting the grass and hedges and washing the van and up with the mrs at 5:30 as she was on an early shift so trained for a rest.

should get the 20 on the last log set next time to increase the weight. Tempted to log before squats as I can see the 20`s leaving me too battered to log soon Happy

Day 2 of the new routine, guessed my bench max at 110 and row at 90

felt a nice click in my back on the chins which felt like something going back in place,inbetween sets of chins dug my tacky out and it had run all over the bag it was in. think I`ve salvaged enough for 2 training sessions then going to have to buy some for the yorkshires

After 3 weeks off and a holiday so been eating not very well and drinking far too much back on it with 3 weeks to the yorkshires at a local show in a local park so guaranteed to be seen by some of the kids I teach so need to make a good showing. gving this a go https://www.t-nation.com/workouts/20-minute-muscle-builder usingh log for the pressing and swapping squats for deads, running it mtwtf then events one day at the weekend. the frequency should be ok a muscle memory should kick in, also back at work next week for the busiest weeks of the year so want to keep training times down. yesterdays session was more like 35 mins though and I can see it getting longer when the 20 reps sets get hard

back/calfs still fairly painful but not as bad as yesterday, went on the stand up sunbed yesterday and found it made it fairly pain free to stretch so did the best I could in a sunbed think its helped.

today
strict press played a bit worked up to 75 for a triple then backed down to 60 stopping all sets when i felt it in my back
trx strap rows 4x15 these are something i could do without pain, with them being bodyweight ben joined in and will probably own me in a few sessions, need to get more bodyweight stuff in so he can do this more often as I found it fun

Tues

Had the opportunity to go to a proper gym, turned into a bit of a disaster

deadlifts 180x3 220x3 245x1.5
misread my bit of paper and went for a triple when it should have been a single. on the second rep felt a pop on my back and hamstrings and went down. was probably a combination of slightly smaller diameter plates, more rigid bar, not warming up aswell and going for the extra reps. My bodies proper f**ked think its something sciatic got a pain going down my calfs and hurts to bend over. defiantly out of Saturdays competition Unhappy
did another hour or so of upper body stuff as I thought seeing as i had gone to the effort of going.

Later on went to my usual insanity class which seemed to free things up a bit

Took yesterday off

Today

benched 100x5 115x3 130x1 didnt bother with the singles
did some chins didnt really count them then came in for a bath and more ibruprofen

spending as much time as i can stretching now, we are renewing our vows next week and dont want to be hobbling along for them.
