| U90kg Team Showdown 2013 Date: Saturday 7th December Venue: AB SALUTE GYM LTD UNIT C5, J31 PARK MOTHERWELL WAY THURROCK RM20 3XD Weigh in: from 8am Kick off: 11am This is a fun training day/ competition, we are at the end of the season and the events are based on TEAM performances. At the venue we can cater for 3 teams of 5 (north vs midlands vs south). If we can't get 3 solid teams, I will make it north vs south and you can fill in gaps as you wish. We're hoping for a great atmosphere, chance to catch up and have a laugh, lift some heavy stuff, and see who the strongest region is A team captain will choose his team. All team issues are to be resolved by the team captain so please address them if you want in or have any issues, they're listed below... North- Shane Jerman Midlands- Will Sanderson South- Arram Eghoyan All 5 members must lift, but not everyone has to do every event. There is no entry fee, no prizes to speak of other than bragging rights. Events: Log Press- 100kg max reps in 5mins Head 2 head 2 head! You can tag in out out as you wish using as many team members as you like, but once the clock starts ticking that is it. Yoke- 270kg x 100m Head 2 head 2 head- Outdoors if weather is good 1 at a time indoors if weather is bad Farmers- 120kg x 100m Head 2 head 2 head- Outdoors if weather is good 1 at a time indoors if weather is bad Deadlift- 250kg max reps in 5mins Head 2 head 2 head!
