Wednesday, 20th July, start 16:00

Quite a bit cooler but it doesn't feel fifteen degrees cooler which it supposedly is

Squat, very raw, sleeves and boots, no belt

All pleasant enough, the last set felt as deep as deep could be, but I had Handsome Jeff video them and I have to say I was disappointed with them. The beard will have to be stroked

Never heard of it, but I now know it's a cave or cavern, so thank you for that. Wordle aside when did you last use that in a sentence ? Obviously I never have and would probably find it no easy task

I do quite a lot of outdoor/bushcrafting stuff and someone I was with used it a couple of years ago, it just stuck with me ever since

A slow 4.

Four for me also.

I have also discovered that evil walks among us.

There is a wordfinder website, devised for Scrabble which can be used for wordle as you can insert a "start with" " ends with" and "contains" option plus the length of word, it then generates a list of suitable.

It has been mooted previously as to whether or not this constitutes cheating and I believe that I can down on the side of all was fair in love and wordle.

They have added a refinement to this beast today - a wordle cheat tool. you can enter any green, yellow or black letters and it fires out answers.

This most definitely cheating - the clue is in the name - anyone using this implement of evil will be regarded as a cad, bounder, rotter and cheat*

*Other opinions are doubtless available

It’s quite a while since ‘A day for experimentation’ Pete! 1300 English pages. Given the onset of potentially rampant inflation, I put the realistic figure at nearer to 1500 in my adjusted calculations.

You are a constant in a world of many variables.

Three today.

One yellow
Two yellow, two green.

Probably took thirty seconds as I guessed the second world quickly as there was little to work on, then it was very clear given how the letters fell on the second attempt.
AvatarWigan
A sweaty 5 for me today, I hate getting just the first letter early on

- - Y - -
G - - - -
G - - - -
G - Y - -
G G G G G
AvatarRick
My customary two start words, and then a good thirty seconds or so of thought before finding probably the only plausible third.

Three today.

Nothing.
One green, two yellow.
Then gambled rather than a tactical guess and struck lucky.
