Tbh planet of the apes films are a bit strange as we are apes so we don't need to go to the future to see apes riding horses and being racist about other apes.

Racist Apes... Rapists?

I'd put money on the leopard.

Don't leopards kill by crushing the back of its preys skull? If they are hunting guerillas that would be a clear case of the physically weaker animal killing a larger one.

I think I'd rather fight a gorilla than a leopard... Rightly or wrongly, but yes the Leopards tactic is ambush. No prizes for a fair fight Happy

Not sure which I'd rather....if a leopard was to ambush me the death would I imagine be pretty quick.
But with a guerilla you'd be pounded bitten dragged and thrown I'd imagine a painful death Unhappy

Surely an elephant would kerb stomp a gorilla or bear, I know that hippos are no match for them and elephants are several times bigger than any bear.

I am sure you've probably grabbed an enraged, cornered house cat. Scale up 😂

Yep quick death well quicker, see I think the bear has more chance of winning a fight but not just because it's stronger because it's better equipped to kill, I think while a guerilla has enough strenght it just doesn't have the tools, sure strenght is a factor in a fight but so are tools,

I remember a commentator saying that American strongman Phil Makdisi had wrestled a bear and pinned it down, so I've just searched YouTube...

It had its teeth and claws pulled. And was probably tame as a house pet. But it was still a bear, I suppose.

A toothless, clawless, dosed up bear.

So marginally harder than fighting a bear skin rug.

Now if it was a gorilla, it'd have overcome such shortcomings by
working out how to make a suitcase nuke or something.
