Last nights sports message has really helped things.
Feel beaten up as usual, day after having one but hopefully this will help things along.

One thing that I've noticed of late ive not been engaging my core, especially on ohp (cant quite remember about squats as such).
I did this last night and I forget what a difference it makes. I was only using really light weights but its stopping me lean back when pressing.
Elbow still hurts though!

I f**king love that deload week. I think some people don't bother when doing 5/3/1, but at my age I'm taking it.Happy

Not too bad at the moment, benxhing doesnt seem to be bother it althougj progress syill slow, issue trying to keep on to of tackling my thoracic stiffness. What you upto with ohp?

To be fair I dont always do it, but I think it helps, im always raring to get on on with the wave of 5s again though.
Still not sure do you still go full more on your assistance? Looka a bit daft on paper

On deload days you mean? I stuck with the same as other days for assistance, and its harder than the main lifts. But I suppose overall it is less volume and intensity so still a deload.

Yeah i agree. Like strict press 5x30 5x35 5x42.5 the 5x10x35 almost doesnt quite compute does it?
Im getting stronger on assistance and slowly on main movents

Re: OH squat, I personally found it helped with mobility in keeping my torso upright and improved confidence in that position. After doing them for a while I was able to do sots presses with the bar in front. Just my 2p Happy

Felt super s**t all day which was great as been looking forward to this all week. Food intake and hydration has been questionable also!

Spent more time stretching lower body this last few days but despite massage still super tight in lower part of glutes, almost into groin, it clicks too.
