Andy - Cheers! Enjoying training at the mo.
Neil- Oddly more the first couple, practically nowt on last couple, so i knew i had enough in me for a couple of singles, gave me a bit of confidence.
Yeah i will do some comps, nowt in particular in mind, see when dates come out. What about you guys?

Naw I'm not a competitive type. My life goals are a 200 dead, 150 squat and 120 bench. If I manage that at 90kg bodyweight, I'll do one.

Ahh right. Yeh i think im gonna be doing the ditricts in March. Would love a 600kg total but think ill be a little off that mark. Anything youve found in particular thats helped your bench come on?

em, started doing weighted dips n b.w chins, started o.h pressing lately too.
Like to take down heavier than i can press from time to time on bench, think heavier weight in the hands makes your pressing max not feel quite so heavy?

Ive never really ever done dips but want to get good at them. Think ill just have to stop being a pansy and get on with them haha.
Yeh im gonna compete unequipped. The only peice of supportive equipment ive got is knee wraps but think ill probably just use the belt and wrist wraps and see what i can get.

BACK SQUAT.
60kg x 5.
100kg x 5.
140kg x 5.
belt on
160kg x 1.

SINGLE ARM DBELL PRESS.
26kg x 3 l+r.
32kg x 3 l+r.
38kg x 3 l+r.
42kg x 3 l+r.
Felt s**tty tonight so left it at that.
2nd time low bar squat attempts, feels ok. Gym rack crap though, bout easy 6odd inch between rack heights. Had to stand on ply to get 140 out, stood on discs then ply to get 160 out clipping hooks on way out, next position down far too low.
