warm up included lots of power cleans and hang cleans to 100

Front squats
3x3 @ 100
then 4
then a gay pb set of 6 to finish.

Went for a 140 pb but utterly failed - did to much before hand I guess

18" Rack pulls
5 @ 60
3 @ 100
3 @ 140
3 @ 160
1 @ 180
1 @ 210 - That was a pb

Rick taught me the switched grip technique that resulted in me being able to hold more than 160 without straps for the first time!

Pistol squats
plus 5kg 3x6
love these!

Did some calves work to finish.

In all fairness - I'm gunna do some bench tomorrow.

And in order to get the same awe and respect I shall now on quote my bench max in half kilos.

Warm up = lots of light Snatches

Horizontal Lying Press
5x3 @ 100

First time I've nailed a full 5x3 at that weight - good times.

Close Grip Horizontal Lying Press
4x6 @ 80

A little something for the triceps as I found the board press rough on the shoulder

Chin ups
Added a 10kg plate for a 5x5 but missed a rep on the last two sets.
Something to work on I guess.

Supported Rows
3x8 @ 45

Lateral Raises
4x8 @ 12
Did these cos over head felt gash after benching, s**t did I say bench - I meant Lying press!

A good sesh, feeling stronger, must be the Adlington effect.

You could see the improvements coming as your session went on mate. Stick at it, listen to Alan and 100 will be piece of piss within a couple of weeks, then you can start building it up. Cleans looked strong!!
