Squats weren't feeling great today but I still got the work done. 165 is a 10kg pb for 5x5 on squats though. First set on bench was a bit s**tty but got better after that. Deadlifts were fine. Feeling back to normal again today as I managed to get 10.5 hours sleep last night.

Squats and bench were fine. 210 deadlift was a little slow, 190's came up ok. I also found out today that my total on Saturday was enough to qualify me for the British junior equipped next year so I may chuck on my knee wraps sometime next year and see what I can hit.

202.5 squat was a bit slow but still came up. Sets on 170 were fine. Bench press was fine as well. Deadlifts were good.

With today's squat parameters set at 200-210, I decided to base my single off my rep on 190. The 202.5 felt pretty heavy but was a little better than Fridays rep. 180 x 5 felt ok and was definitely better than when I set that pb 14 months ago now. Parameters for the bench single was 130-135 so based it off my 120 beforehand. 133 was not quite as I wanted it as I lost some tension on the touch. The set of 5 on 120 started of incredibly well for the first 2 reps then got noticeably harder on the third and fourth. Didn't think I had a fifth rep in me but went for it anyway and just got it after a massive fight. Deadlifts felt decent. This is my penultimate training block before the GBPF classic in October as the weekend I finish this block, I go away on holiday for 2 weeks before returning for a 3 week build up to the comp. In 13 days time I will also be lifting at the All England comp.

Whilst pissing around on Facebook this morning, I found this video of me hitting a 185kg pb deadlift back in May 2011. Going into the session my pb was 180kg and the week before I had only managed to hit 155. This was also the first session I ever took pre workout. Form looks pretty similar to now except for I tend to keep a more neutral head position at the start of my pull whereas previously I looked up.

Haha yeah, there was certainly less of me back then. I was still 105kg when this video was taken mind.

Squats and bench felt good. Deadlifts felt pretty decent today. I feel that a lot of it is due to the amount of times I do it per week so when I go heavy it is just second nature really.

Squats were hard today. Hit pb's in both sets but form was a little back happy and not as quick as I would have wanted. Happy to get the reps on bench, first 2 sets weren't great but the third one was decent.

Squats felt decent tonight, definite improvement on Wednesdays session. Bench was good up to the heavy single. Line was a touch off on the heavy triple on the first and last reps which made it extremely difficult to lock out the third rep but I got there in the end. Deadlifts felt good as well.
