First run through an overhead medley for a while.

100kg Block (slipping down my chest so tshirt with water and chalk next time)
105kg Keg
110kg Axle
123kg Log
70kg Dumbbell

Second event session ever with Conan's wheel.

200kg in plates for distance as last week went up to see what 300kg felt like. The answer was horrible!!!

First movement medley in a long time too.

300kg Yoke into 120kg Farmers Walk.

Enjoyed the OH medley...nice

You look a lot leaner/more muscular than the last time I seem to remember you posting vids?

Thanks mate.

I'm 18 1/2 stone now and was 23 1/2 at one stage!!!

My fitness has improved dramatically and I feel so much better all round. That was my fifth event session since before the Welsh and UK's last year so all things considered, I feel in reasonable nick.

I'm enjoying training at the moment but won't be heading up to North Wales this year. I haven't done enough around the comp weights and with further weight loss, I don't feel like I would do myself justice. I was competitive at the Welsh last year and had I have focussed on training events week in week out like last year, I think I would have been competitive again this year. I'm going to compete at the comp in Bridgend as it's a bit lighter, close to home and I'm not putting a great deal of pressure on myself which I would be at the Welsh after a successful comp last year.

Thanks Hywel. I'm fitter than I've ever been competing and feel great for it.

Thank you for your kind words Mark. I'd planned on taking a complete your off events and comps but am really enjoying training at the moment and feel so much better being lighter and more athletic.

Cheers mate.

Cheers Phil. If I keep losing weight at this rate, I'll be perilously close to competing at 105 before too long!!!!
