I got it in four, however it's all for naught!
I've been camping in South Wales for the last week and coming home yesterday basically involved packing up and traveling until about 5 past midnight when I got home.
I panicked as I saw the time and swiftly opened up Wordle, but alas I was too late. I'd missed a day and my streak was over

Harsh, but illustrates the advantages of never going anywhere. Your win percentage will remain unchanged I presume

Arrived to find the bar on the bench loaded at eighty kilograms. I was first one in so I assume the last one left it loaded, murder can be got away with in the other room where the rules don't apply, but they do here. Not the end of the world by any means but a rum do whichever way you cut it. Plus I was locked out at work today as my electronic pass failed, so definitely a rum day, in addition I have yet to wordle. All I need now is a fail at that, if ever there was a day for that, this could well be it.
Anywhoo

Well I got through this okay, day off tomorrow as I have a couple of minor medicals to attend, first a belly rub or Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm scan as some call it, plus the removal of a bit of blood for some nonsense. I may just then schlep off to a certain, very fine gentleman's outfitters in Bolton where I may just purchase some jeans that actually fit the new, lighter, svelte me. Won't that make a change.

Wordle in four. A very grim start plus a very lucky third guess, then a fairly lucky fourth. Phew !!

Day off today, 9 o'clock found me at a local medical centre where my aorta was scanned and it appears to be very, and let us not be afraid to use the word, "normal" 21mm diameter throughout it's length and as straight as you could wish for. Schlepped off to Bolton for the first time in a long while and it has changed beyond recognition, car parks were very full but the streets were very empty.
Slater's the last bastion of good service was as delightful as ever, I purchased four pairs of jeans, one pair of shoes and a belt, the jeans are being altered to a far more reasonable leg length. The gentleman who sold me the shoes knew what a barleycorn was and how it related to shoe size and the gentlemen who arranged for the shortening of the trousers had heard of Jethro Bodine and appreciated the humour in the mentioning of him.
Happy days. Why can't all shops be like that ?

Wordle in four today, had a good basis after two and worked out the order of the first four and the fifth could only be one letter, entered that and was wrong, the first four were correct but the last wasn't. That stumped me, I went through the keyboard and could not find an alternative, then the penny dropped and I realized my error. Next one got it. I would like to say that wordle was being tricky but it wasn't, it was me just being a bit dim
