Well they seemed to understand the British Bulldog when he wrestled and he was from Wigan and people in Wigan have some of the strongest accents in England!

He was a seasoned wrestler and actor and spoke well.. set of idiots on this site.. How can you compare ed to the British bulldog

And who wants that life of being on the road 360 days a year.. drugs, painkillers, steroids, not seeing your family etc

Look at you with the knowledge bombs! Roll-Eyes "Professional wrestling" is what it's called. You know that, right?
And it's basically chav (or rather redneck) paradise, from the show to the spectators. I don't care for Hall's online persona, but I don't see how it clashes with the general style of the WWE. Apart from him not being American, obviously.

They wouldn't be able to understand him for a start

Mark henrys gimmick? Thought it was strength? Never a WSM. Eddie has so much personality that it would seem to make a good fit - but is he too old to learn the skills, same with olympic weightlifting (and that pesky WADA issue)

Mark has many different gimmicks.. he's also American which helps massively.. it's all about relating to the American audience and ed doesn't do that

I don't know how you define "awful" in this context, but you don't exactly need to exude class and elegance to succeed as a pro wrestler.

Ed is terrible on the like.. cringy

You know they're all pro actors right?

Mark Henry did it.

Ed could make the top. He would be good on the mic. Obviously he would need in ring ability, but he could do it. It pays well too, if you're at the top.

He would make the top? You're taking the piss aren't you surely?

The life in the wwe isn't what it's cracked up to be unless you're at the top..

The argument of he never really maxed out is flawed, and that's not just in regards to Z, same for Ed too.
All that counts really are world records and titles.
Both are incredible strength athletes, but the longevity of Z, along with his plethora of world records and titles makes him currently the best of all time.
Ed is a different beast, and has different goals to Z. If Ed breaks Z's world log record, then he can be considered stronger than Z.
Out of interest, Rian do you know how tall Ed is?

Well if all that counts is records and titles then Z is the best by miles.. Z never had a challenger when he was at his peak.. when I met him he said he's squatted 440 in training and also 240 strict press

Z did max his deadlift. I have only seen a 250 bench video, though believe he could do 280

The 250 was his off season and with not training bench for years.. z didn't ever fully max on dead.. I mean he pulled 445 on that awful bar in the rain after a heavy comp which is the as ed has done on the same setup

Ed is statically stronger overall. He's miles ahead with bench and deadlift, while shoulders and pressing is close.
If you done a Squat/axle/log/Bench/deadlift total Ed takes it by a fair margin.

You do know z benched 280 years ago and stopped benching when he got involved in strongman.. I'm sure at his peak he could have done over 300.. Z also never really maxed on the dead in his prime either..

FAT_SAM said:It's safe to say Z is better with a log. Ed an axle.

Z is just better overhead full stop.. z has repped a 210 axel easily

Haha my raw total is the second best in UK history and I imagine top 30 in the world. 2000lb+ with no wraps is elite regardless of who you are. Get the facts right if you are gonna try to insult me!

You're not top 30 in the world pal you're just a short fat steroid addict..
