This competition apparently starts at 6pm tonight, the one place I can see that is streaming the event it FloElite (http://www.floelite.com/), but it looks to be $12.99 for the month. Not sure if there's a UK stream available?

I'm just watching the highlights of yesterdays stage, I love that they use a heatgun to check whether Steve Cummings is using some "mechanical doping"

Boar said:56 quid a month for 1 year (for a 1k bike) is too good an opportunity to miss, and my eldest can come out with me too on father and son BONDING rides.

I think this is the big win here. If I knew much about bikes I would have recommended something but I don't! That Ribble page looked good but designing a bike quickly adds up!

I'd just like to congratulate you specifically on that squat, it's becoming a bit cliche to comment on how you're not a deadlift specialist anymore, but that squat is absolutely world class now and it's clear that there's more to come.

That first stage was very entertaining. Great start to the tour!

How do people here follow professional cycling? I'm interested in following it, but I don't have time to watch a full tour or probably even a hour long highlight show, are there any shorter podcasts or tv shows/weekly round ups that you'd recommend?

I'll check prices closer to Autumn although I can imagine everyone's buying them that time of year so they'll be no cheaper. I wasn't sure how everyone was able to train to power (I was asking myself if everyone just has loads more money than me, which is likely), but after looking a bit more today there are a lot of trainers that include these "Smart" functions.

Cycled 45 miles today, attempted to keep it quite flat but in my area that meant I did 1500 feet of climbing. Not too bad Confused

As the weather is getting good and I'm able to cycle again (following injury), I'm trying to think a bit longer term - what kind of things should I look for in a turbo, and are there any in particular that I should consider?

My budget is probably around £200 but would happily buy something used so that maybe opens my budget up to something that would otherwise be a bit more expensive.

Cycling?? are you not logging it on here? Would be good to see the affect it has on your strength gains.

It could be a long time, there is a big difference between the #3 and the #2. You're better off aiming for the 2.5 first. Definitely keep training with the number two though, get very comfortable with that, closes, timed holds etc.
