Many of this bodybuilding generation are dead and many have sever health problems .Recently found out that Steve Michalik is dead at 63 , former Mr.Universe.In an interview he's saying that after a decade of taking steroids he had all internal orgnas damaged and most of his genereation did . Yes he was alive after stopped competing , but not a healthy man anymore .
Not worried doing test dbol because u're 25 . And who says if dont take steroids u have to take slin, myo etc ? Take nothing and stay healthy .

We will have to agree to disagree, i don't understand the last part you said. Ideally nobody would take anything and live like Adam and Eve or Steve (i know you like big Z, alot Wink x )

Steroids can and do kill people, heart attacks and strokes being the most common ways.I'm not talking about lads dying in their twenties but rather an increased mortality rate in the forties and fifties of users or former users of steroids.

Again what else were these people taking, people that are prepared to take steroids are probably much more likely to take other drugs as well. look at the guys who were competing in the 60s and 70s I think you will find the mortality rate in these guys to be very similar to the average guy.
They were not taking insulin hgh IGF etc. Yeah you hear about strongmen and bodybuilders dying young but 90 percent of the time they had UN-diagnosed heart defects. Most won't agree with what im saying and its so f**king subjective, but im not worried doing test dbol etc but certainly won't risk taking slin, myo inhibitors etc

So he didn't disclose 90% of what he did or took, but you're the one who knows he abused insulin and GH...
Aside from that, you're missing that point I'm making. The point being that steroids are far more likely to be used by the average Joe and there are far more cases of excessive use now. All I'm trying to say here is that scare mongering evidently is not working. If you want to argue about anything with me, then argue that, I really don't give a f**k about what Yates or any BB was or was not using. My interest lies in the argument that blanket statements like "steroids will make you die" are not helpful any more.

Lol that's common knowledge regarding Dorian. It's the dosages of the dozens of other compounds that is the mystery. Steroids won't kill anyone, it's the lifestyle, diuretics , pain killers, sleeping tablets, narcotics etc that do the damage! As for people abusing stuff, that's probably correct I think the internets to blame, people talking about how steroids don't kill etc giving a sence of security Wink

Therein lies the problem though, it's not hard to get educated on the subject and young people do ask questions and they have the internet to find out answers. As I said in my second post here, the real danger is when these sufficiently motivated young lifters find that they're not as dangerous as they have been lead to believe it initiates that YOLO response and they are far more likely to overdo things at that stage.
Dorian Yates said it in an interview recently, when he was taking them there was a genuine air of uncertainty around them and they were handled with respect. Nowadays steroids are far, FAR more prevalent and for the most part are taken far more casually with recreational drugs, stimulants and all sorts.
Education is needed, not blind scare mongering. It may have worked for our generation but that doesn't work with the youth of today.

You must be kidding on the Dorian subject, he was one the FIRST to abuse insulin and GH - this is very well know and hence why he was where he was. You really think he handled anabolic's with respect, but then readily abused substances which no one else really used / knew about? Dorian is awesome but im prity sure he still would not disclose 90 percent of the stuff he did/took '' it was all the HIT training, that did it lol''

I remember seeing him at a comp, and he was talking about how the comp weight was really easy for him etc then when it came to deadlifting it, the weight didn't move a mm!! In fact he may have even been pushing down on the bar. Anyway he stood up growls gos back down and still zero movement. he proceeded to do this half a dozen times then shake his head in disbelief.
Not sure why im writing this but it was funny to watch at the time. He then in a confident loud voice says ''yoke next, my event aint no one beatin me on that'' he came last on that aswell i think. I admire his enthusiasm all the while he was telling people how it should be done etc, bless him!

I think it would be good if Ed broke some records. He would bring some much needed personality to powerlifting as well. I personally find it very mono-tone!
