Axle squat weight is 240kg (10kg up on last year's ESM) which was won by John Marsden with 10 reps.Squat is at 2:47 if you want to see the set up and good (but on the line, i.e. any higher would be no-repped) depth:

I entered the Welsh 105's for a bit of fun. I have the Welsh 90's the week before this comp, so if one of the top three from Wales pulled out I very much doubt I would be ready for this!!

Marsdens squats are MILES in there!!! A good inch or two!

What the f**k do you know - you are just the ref!
They look spot on to me, but if they are an inch in then only cutting by 1.5inch would mean a "no lift"... which is why I thought they were a good example.

maybe, but 1.5" is a LOT to cut...my point was only that those weren't "borderline" squats!
I hope we see the same standard of squatting, as 95% of the guys squatted very well indeed (and to correct depth) last year

Hixxy has a July 8th deadline to confirm entry... 2 weeks notice before the comp'... I'll be honest - I want to see Ben and Hixxy do battle!!!
