George is foolishly off to foreign climes soon, doing foolish things in foolish places so I will schlep off to Adders later and wish him bon voyage with food and diet coke.

Eight of us went to the pub, all ordered food, two had either cheesy chips or toasted something or other, six had more traditional pub fare, burgers or scampi or both. These six therefore also received "salad" two pieces of tomato, two of cucumber and some lettuce.
I ate my salad, along with everything else as I almost never leave food. But either four or all of the remaining five refused to touch theirs, so I ate their tomato and cucumber also.
I have difficulty believing that these cheese guzzling folk are not prepared to eat tomato or cucumber. Still I live and learn. One day I may not be in a very small minority. One day, maybe.

Wordle in four today. Quite straightforward.
Off to Adders later and then the Spinners for a very similar meal to yesterday but with a lot less tomato and cucumber methinks

Gentle reminder for all married men, if you promised your missus you would love her 24/7, well today is 24/7
The condition of the man who was mauled when he stumbled across some teddy bears having a picnic is improving, but he isn't out of the woods yet

Same here.
For the record, it’s a yes to cheese from me and a very definite no to both cucumber and tomato.

My last Sunday of not wanting to go to work tomorrow
Once more to set the alarm tonight and then Thursday it gets switched off forever. Really looking forward to that simple and trivial act

I'll happily have cucumber and tomato with cheers (feta for preference)

Radio this morning said it is twenty years today since the 2002 Manchester Commonwealth Games opening ceremony. The ticket allocation for that was in the words of Jacob Rees Mogg "a butcher's slaughterhouse" bit other than that it was average. But twenty f**kin' years !!!!! Was I really only 46 then. Apparently so

Just wandering round the CG website and the men's 109 class is Wednesday morning, and the 109+ is Wednesday evening, the 9:30 till noon slot for the 109s seem cruel in my eyes.
