This morning I would like to do some step ups if I can find a slightly lower box to use

If not I have some ideas when I get back of what I would like to do as part of my training in replace my of very dull upper body strength training which for me is neither beneficial nor particulary enjoyable... There is a balance I will attempt to address

Yesterday I did Zumba

It was the first time I have done Zumba on the beach

I've done Zumba, but not on a beach.

Yeah me to

Yesterday it was just something to do in between beach volleyball games... Which incidentally leaves me very sore in the morning. After my visit to the gym my lower back is fine once again

Wednesday 1st October 2014

I settled on exercises involving my mid section. This was decided after I did five sets of twenty reps glute hamstring raises to put my spine back to good health. I then did the same effort on crunches followed by four sets of twenty-five reps windmills using two four kilo dumbbells. I finished with five minutes on the treadmill after I had done on set of ten Palof press type things with my shoulders on a Swiss ball.

I'm in holiday

I'm also on holiday

I've put in and also put on at least four kilos in a couple of weeks

My target weight could be around ninety kilos with any luck. I hope to be less than ninety six in six weeks

That reminds me if and indeed of a post I logged on to make

I did some but the other day about half way into my holibobs but the floor was less than ideal and my technique isn't perfect on these

Having said that I do get ups with a twenty eight though... And am happy with that

Windmills and get ups will feature in my workouts starting next week

Windmills used to be one of my favourites - not done them for a long time though. Have you tried Saxon Side Bends?

Not intentionally or that I am aware if no... I don't know what they are or at least the name doesn't ring a bell with my limited knowledge

I will and do try anything though... I have no reason not to and therefore every reason to do so

Jogging

The pace if my jogging is purposefully slow... I focused in staying relaxed throughout and had a nice rhythm. The music helps a lot. Me and the mrs jogged from the hotel Yucatan to Playa Del Carmen in 19 minutes and 21 minutes on the return leg. In between I took lots of photos of Xaman-Ha. It would be interesting to find out how far that is at some point to see how Phillis Halter's running is improving.

Cycling

I now have too bikes. I bought one with small tyres. Riding this thing is bloody hard work! I cycled 3.6km and went up 300 metres. This is a bit of a hill like. At the bottom having survived more down to luck than skill due to the turns in the road I went back over the hill. On the way back it is steeper and shorter.
