yeah arsjo is alsways there or thereabouts.
I like katona alot and he should be good at those events but I always think he underachieves at wsm. cant see any total bogey events for misha there so thats why he got my pick.

Group 1
Laurence Shahlaei ENGLAND

Krzysztof Radzikowski POLAND
Group 5

group 2 was the trickiest after lalas. hard to pick between hixxy, pritchett and arsjo. its going to be tight but arsjos keg tossing skills swung it for me.
also think felix has a great chance in group 4 with those events. I only picked burke over him because I think burke will take points off him in fingals.
great to see st.ives original alex moonen in there too!

looking at the events yeah.
Loading race
Rock lift
Deadlift
Fingals fingers
Viking press
Atlas stones
loading race, rock lift, fingals, and stones id give to burke over radz. plus felix could take points off radz in loading, rock lift, deadlift and stones. there wont be many points between them on deadlift. only question is how many points will be between them on the press. overall I say burke takes it.

But where do you see misha beating katona on their events, I just can't see it

Mark Felix ENGLAND / Krzysztof Radzikowski POLAND
Zydrunas Savickas LITHUANIA
Group 5
Mike Jenkins USA
Mikhail Koklyaev RUSSIA / Eddie Hall ENGLAND
Some of these are clear for me, others are close.
I really want Ed in the final and hope that he can beat Misha.
Hixxy has the hardest job, but he has some good events.
Felix has a good set of events in general so should be able to pick up a lot of points.

in theory I agree, katona should beat misha with these events -
Yoke
Truck pull
Viking press
Squat
Keg toss
Atlas stones
you probably couldnt pick better events for him. but, that has happened in the past and he just hasnt performed at wsm for some reason. if it was an scl comp id say katona beats misha. but, at wsm its misha for me. but who knows? maybe its katonas year to finally get it right! Id be happy if he did.

other than yoke their good events for ed, all pretty static except truck but hes heavy and has very strong legs.

Lets not forget radz beat burke on loading last year and was 2nd quickest out of all groups that had anvils. That group will be very interesting. I hope felix makes it and its definitely possible just my head says radz
