Hello

My name is Ben Fulton and I have been training inconsistently for around two years now, in Glasgow with SuperSteel101 and likesadeadkf, I have just moved to back Shetland and wanted a better way to keep track of my progress, so here it is!

Started at a new gym today and was on my own so I thought I would take it light and work my way up(as suggested by SuperSteel101)

So:

Bench:
1*10 - 20kg
1*8 - 40kg
3*5 - 60kg

I then backed it off for 3*10 at 40kg

Close Grip Bench:
3*10 - 40kg

Military Press:
2*10 - 20kg
2*10 - 30kg

Back Squat:
1*10 - 20kg
1*8 - 40kg
1*8 - 60kg
3*5 - 80kg (one had 6 reps because, well.. I am an idiot and never realised until I watched the video)

I then finished off with 3*12 of hanging leg raises

As i said it was a new gym so I was just getting the feel for the place. but in the end everything felt rather easy, apart from the shake afterwards (drinking a horrible shake at 60mph on a single track road is not a good idea!)

Got a friend for today and everything was as normal quick and easy (despite my hungover state)

First off played squash the other day scores were:

11-2, 11-4, 11-5, 11-0, 11-5

I was in the zone for that fresh from not training that day

Ok back to today,

Bench Press:

1*10 - 20kg
1*8 - 40kg
1*5 - 60kg
3*5 - 67.5kg

all quick felt strong and hoping to try for a new 1 rep PB next week sometime

Military Press:

1*10 - 20kg
1*8 - 30kg
3*5 - 40kg New Rep PB

Back Squat:

1*10 - 20kg
1*8 - 40kg
1*5 - 60kg
1*3 - 80kg
3*5 - 85kg

All the main stuff out the way finished with

cable crunch:

3*12 - 50kg

Then 3 sets of 12 hanging leg raise and 3 sets of plank at 30 seconds

then squash tonight Happy

nice PB and can't wait to see more of those squat videos. You have a lovely squat Ben. I've always been jealous of your form.

Hello

Ok to start off the squash on Saturday played with 3 different people for an hour and a half got a few games: 9-0, 9-0, 9-6, 9-6, 9-4, 6-9 was destroyed by the last game.

and back to today, was out till three last night after the old firm so was not too fresh but

Bench Press:

1*10 - 20kg
1*8 - 40kg
1*5 - 60kg
3*5 - 70kg- new rep PB

the top sets were ok, starting to slow down for the final few reps

Dumbbell Row:

1*12 - 15.5kg
3*12 - 24kg

Back Squat:

1*10 - 20kg
1*8 - 40kg
1*5 - 60kg
1*3 - 80kg
3*5 - 90kg

was all very good got two of the sets videoed not to sure about the depth for the 1st set see for yourself:

and the second set for Neill:

Cable Crunch

3*24 - 50kg

then squash again at night just me and one other:
11-2, 11-2, 11-9, 11-3, 11-6, 5-2 (we ran out of time at the end)

Congrats on the bench rep PB. You're fast catching me dude!
1 video of squats looked a fraction high to me but the second set looked great! There's a lot of velocity in your squats just now too they're looking very strong and explosive!
How long did you play squash for in all? I'd be really tired after that!
