Member 673, 529 posts SQ 200, BP 110, DL 230540.0 kgs @ 98kgs UnEq | Yeah was a bit too heavy guys but think getting owned on sat has done the trick lol Tonight @ T/hall Rear delts 4 sets of 10 Barbell strict press Bar x10, 45 x10, 65 x4, 75 x2(PB), 80 x1(PB), 65 x8 Strict dumbell press (standing) 25 x4 each arm Bench 60 x6, 80 x6, 90 x2, 100 x1, 100 x2 Dips Not a huge volume but felt strong for a change. 10kg strict press PB for me is massive & no idea where it came from. Maybe a heavy comp has given me the kick ive needed for a long time. Also been a few years since ive managed a 100kg bench too & bombed it so often recently so happy with such a great session. Cant wait for thursday now..... | ||

Dumfries novice Will prob be November but nothing posted yet. Spoke to Stuart on sat & said it should happen. Think about 4/5 from over here doing it so good fight. A comp in peterhead on Sept 8th. Its on riot training but from what i hear, not sure if it Will happen. | ||

Deadlift not great & not going past 200 for a while, will add more reps in future but not today lol. | ||

Pressing coming on slow & steady, so happy for now. Still sore from Sunday too, killed me lol | ||

Did 4 sets of 10 hypers to try ease the back & left it at that for another day | ||

Im falling apart lol Tonite @ T/hall Deadlift, 120 x4, 160 x4, 180 x2, 190 x3 x2, 160 x10 Hypers x8 x2 Not feeling great just now, feeling it a bit after 1st week back at work. Will plod on & see how it goes. Need the weekend.... | ||

Member 673, 529 posts SQ 200, BP 110, DL 230540.0 kgs @ 98kgs UnEq | Dumfries novice comp 20 in the comp Viking press 100kg for reps 11reps Drew 2nd on this & never great overhead managed 11reps & very happy with this as best before was 7 tied with 4 or 5 others on this Winner got high 20's Arm over arm 210 prowler 20m Finished in 75sec Was a tough tough pull with a wet rope, horrible but about half the field didnt finish so ended up with a good placing Medley, 100kg farmers 10m, 65kg keg 10m loaded to platform, 115kg keg load & 100kg sack Finished in decent time for me but no idea what lol Prob mid table & only slight issue was a fumble on the sack, only cost me a few seconds so no big deal really Frame hold 250kg got just over 30sec, expected more but looks like ive broken my finger on the medley so not bad Stones, 90kg, 100kg, 110kg, 120kg, 136kg & 160kg Managed all execpt the last one & all felt comfy, 160kg too big a jump on the day. Think I came 12th. Happy enough with how things went & really all I had on the day so no regrets. Strongest ive ever been & very high standard for a novice comp. Well done all & now time to move up. 105's qt least this year. As always a great comp from Stuart & his team............. | ||
