Notes

Shoulder was in too much pain today, but this was after physio. The goal was to go for 135kg x 10 which would be a pb so after the failed attempt I decided to call the session there and go for it again on Friday instead of pushing on with the usual assistance. Hopefully the pain will have subsided on Friday and the decision will turn out to be correct

I initially wanted 135kg x 10 as it would be a pb. (Current pb for 10 is 133.5kg although I have done 140kg x 9. I tried it on Wednesday and got 9 and then today it just wasn’t there so I stuck with the schedules 3x5. I’m going back to benching once a week now. I’ve slipped into the habit of benching twice a week again since my shoulder has been feeling a bit better but it’s beginning to feel worse now as the weight increases. Next week 140kg 3x5. 14 weeks out
