Ok mate, will list the weights for the novice in the next few weeks. If you have done comps before you will probably find the novice quite light

One of the Best Strongman Comps we have had in years very close, weather was horrible, and all the guys had a great time.
the Veteran Dave Dalrymple won the North Isles Strongest Man and the Orkney's Strongest Man title
Dhanni Moar Won Back the Shetland Title
low Point of the Day was when new had to replace the Faramers as The big Lithuanian Julius Broke them Unhappy
High Point for me was the stones was absolutely awesome to see good for the crowed.
for me a great day.
all the lads helping for the day, the guys competing, and the people who helped organize the comp cab pat them selfs on the back for a great job. i personally would like to thank Stuart Wadley for Being the MC for the day as he kept the crowed interested in a poor display of shetland weather.

Well done Chris Newlands, I sometimes train with him and he is a bit of a beast tbh! Done 3 comps, got 2 2nds and a win! Good man!
Avatarmartinb
seems as though that was a very high level comp!

Yeah, you would have enjoyed it Martin. Standard was very good. I had a s**t day in terms of performance and messed up every event (see journal) but it was good crack and the standard was generally the highest I have seen up here.

Weather was pretty s**t, wind and rain, which thinned down the crowd a bit, but a very good competition. Orkney next year should be great too.
