Always the one to put the iron in the fire but this time i have to say your so wrong there has been issues for some time with him and it was nit a decision made by anyone in particular.
The underlined problem was the national records were not being updated on the site but only on the yne site there are other issues but well what can i say the outcome was after some things like this going on for some time.
Myself i know ian did a good job but why start to slat others off without knowing the facts.
So jason how are you doing the bench is coming up are you going to come back and have a go ????
jt24/12/09 @ 20:55
phil of course i don't know the facts because i am also not in the gang
i would like to lift but begrudge paying £40 to bolster the "send phil on holiday fund" or "ralphs pension fund"
the above of course is nit based on facts just underlined lighthearted feelings

To be fair they aren't helping out with the team going to internationals, they told the juniors as it was the first year of the new federation and they were basically rebuying all the equipment so we had to fund ourselves, that's why we didnt go to the worlds as it was so expensive.
brynevans25/12/09 @ 08:30
I would of imagined Phil's international performances were enough to justify his position on the team.
JT how should everyones £40 be used once insurance, affiliation fees and national championships have been paid for?

and i believe that is being done where possible and with limited funds available of course as you assume that the bulk goes to me. maybe we should rename the fed, and call it "send phil on holiday Powerlifting federation"
For you info Jason i do what i can and it may not be much but i can assur you i am not here for the financial gains. The few times you went away under the old set up there were costs like federation affiliation and drug tests paid for the same as most of the other teams that go away. the difference is i did not pack up and go else where i stayed to help out and put something back into the sport that has given me so much fun and the friendships throughout the world i have today.
rant over

I think you should all jack it in and take up strongman.
I think you should all jack it in and take up strongman.
I think they should all jack it in and rejoin BWLA. At least then the PL's could all unite in hatred of those dispicable weightlifters and have some unity again.
Doing what Tony said would work out well too.
