I could not think what your second guess was, so I used wordfinder, starts with 1 and ends with 3,4 and 5.
It supplied two answers only, one was the correct solution obviously and the other a word I had never head of.
The fact that you knew this word impresses me, the fact that you thought it a more likely answer than the actual one does not.
Consider me amazed

I looked at this and couldn’t fathom it at all. I think Macca may have had a different word, as has happened on occasion I believe? If not, that second guess is either genius or madness 😆

I am quite prepared to accept that some people are more familiar with the Hebrew alphabet than others. Maybe he knows it all, bit of a fluke if he only knew the 18th letter :-). I look forward to his reply

There is another possible word, an obsolete one, that I've encountered while briefly investigating this.

Rather anticlimactically it was a typo 😁
It should have looked like this:

YXYYG
GGGXG
GGGGG

3
AvatarFatpete
A desperately slow and rather terrible four

XXYXX
XXXXX
XXXXG

Now the torment begins, this took a long time but patience was ultimately rewarded

That makes sense, but see the trouble you cause

Apparently "teade" is an obsolete word meaning torch.
AvatarBod
A taxing four.

XXXXX
XYYYX
XXYYY
AvatarWigan
A terrible 6
AvatarWayne_Cowdrey
A slow but ultimately satisfying 4.

Same here, but I will match your terrible and raise you a terrifying.

XYYXX
XXXYX
XXXXX
XXYYY
YXYYX

The fourth attempt frightened me as I was convinced that the last three letters would be green. The fifth made matters worse as there was still only yellow to be seen. A whole cup of tea was consumed and an envelope covered in scribble when I took the plunge with a dubious but correct sixth. Lucky, seriously lucky.

Wednesday, 8th November, start 15:00

Squat, sleeves and boots on
20 x 5
20 x 5
20 x 5
20 x 5
20 x 5
70 x 3
80 x 3
90 x 3
100 x 3
110 x 3
120 x 3
130 x 3
130 x 3
130 x 3
130 x 3
130 x 3

The good news is that even after the excessive benching on Monday the shoulder had a little more give in it and I was able to get further under the bar and get it a little lower down my back. It is also worth noting that the first set, which usually makes the shoulder scream just made it grumble a little tonight. I restricted the weight to 130 as there was a little extra pressure on the shoulder tonight and didn't want to risk doing too much too soon. Happy days, it coped admirably.
