Great performance pal. Come along way from the fluffy teenager who came to pick a log up from JT and myself, all those years ago Seems like if a few things had gone your way you would have nailed qualification. Great steps to build on man.

Bish with 7 reps, fighting back. Just fear for the long armed mcdaddy on safe press. Hopefully he has a tech sorted which will help him bag a few reps.

Was chatting with some of the Loughborough uni lifters on Monday about you. They were mirin your 180kg clean and jerk from the lifting league. I just mocked your haircut. Keep up the good work mate. Looking forward to seeing you at Brits. Should be a good show for you. That is all!

MJG said: If Felix has a good Yoke run I think he could beat Loz for second again. He's better than Loz in at least 3 of those events so has a chance. Baring the safe lift, those events are very good for Giant Head (Bish)

Seriously impressed every time you lift mate, keep it going. Glad you are getting the shots you deserve. Just as a side note, some of the weights in this comp surprised me, considering it was a giants qualifier.

A friend from my gym is due to/has lifted against him in the 105kg+ cat (not sure if he has yet as I have only trained 4 times since October). He is listed in his flight in a few upcoming oly comps

Paul_D said: I'm not. But you can have them mate. Wish you well in setting up your facility buddy. I wouldn't be able to find time until Feb, so don't want to keep you waiting Dr. Happy for General to have them. Get out, I was second in line

ChrisMcCarthy said:I seem to recall she's been a bit ill since Rio - plus after your first Olympics she probably needs a rest! Correct! I've only seen her training in Loughborough a handful of times since Rio, where as in the lead up she was there most days. Phenomenal lifter, who at 17 (which people sometime forget) probably just needed a bit of a rest and the chance to be 17. |
