| Had a f**king great time yesterday. Could analyse performance and make excuses etc as made a few mistakes here and there but knew where I was gonna drop points against the mutants! Not bothered about placings this year, all about experience, learning and enjoying. So proud of Arram. I said to him before the comp there could well be a different winner of each event and most consistent guy would win and he was awesome from start to finish. Loads of PBs hit by all and camraderie of the event between every competitor was awesome. Standard was crazy high! Well done to team North. Your boys were awesome Bit belated but as for the banter you asked for before the comp: Under 90kg - St Ives Winner: Glenn (South) - Champs Future Winner: Me (South) - ESM Winner: Arram (South) - BSM: ? - Dragons: ? - Bulldog: ? - Naturals: ? Arram popped down to train some events and brought his monster DB with him as I've never tried any monster/circus DB before. Got 4 weeks to work on it! Also did 130kg Farmers for 20m in 13.1 sec, then did Medley which I always enjoy! Lastly tried stones for first time in ages. Got to 120kg easily but was knackered for 135kg, got it to lap then lost it. Apparently I bruise like a peach...my forearm skin literally stuck to the stone looking something like Stretch Armstrong! | |||

| I messaged Rob yesterday and he said I'm in as I came 7th. I guess it's subject to Adam Hales confirming he's not doing it. The guy who came 6th trains at muscle inc in Haslemere but I can't remember his name. More than happy to compete in this but worse case scenario for me is I do BNSM. Would be good to clear it up as it could open up a space in BNSM for someone. | |||
