Tuesday 23/12/14 Deadlift 70 x 1 110 x 1 150 x 1 205 x 1 160 x 5 Clean and push press 70 x 3 x 3 80 x 3 90 x 3 100 x 3 Farmers walk 80 each hand x 40 meters 80 each hand x 40 meters 80 each hand x 40 meters 80 each hand x 40 meters 80 each hand x 40 meters Made sure these farmers were all around 10-12 seconds and I was moving quick. Not a bad sessions deadlifts felt great | |||

This year hasn't been great. I wanted to get back into strongman and everything was going well until I tore my right hamstring 3 weeks away from midlands qualifier. So have spent the latter half of the year doing bodybuilding training and making sure I am healthy and ready to take another run at it. After a fitness test last week my current lifts are: Log - 100 Deadlift - 210 Squat - 180 Front squat - 150 Clean and push press - 110 Bench - 150 These are not the worst lifts to start back with but they certainly are not the best.Lets see what 2015 brings. | |||

Friday My right hamstring has been very tender the past 2 days so just kept things comfortable. Deadlifts 60 2r 2s 100 2r 2s 140 2r 4s 180 2r 6s Close stance squats (no belt) 60 1r 100 1r 140 1r 180 1r 100 8r Mixed grip pulldowns 10r 6s Hyper extensions BW 20r 20kg 20r BW 20r Hammy was aching by the end but still in one piece. Lighter squats next week and heavy deadlifts I think. See where it's at. | |||
