then i did something that can only be described as something inbetween DB rows and kroc rows
3 sets of stuff up to 35kg x 5

i think iv figured out why im so crap at squats.
i think its because it feels un natural and aquard and just wrong, so my body thinks theyre a lot harder than they actually are. for example, il do one rep and it will be realy hard and feel like i can do no more, then the next rep will feel the same, then the next rep the same but i can allways get more reps. so im just going to keep increasing the weight and see where it takes me

172.5kg x 5 PB easier than i expected.
100kg x 5

had to wear 2 jackets under my belt to get it tight enough

good mornings:
bar x 10
60kg x 4 too heavy
50kg x 8 x 4

5 sets of sidebends, 20 reps with 20kg

3 sets of wide grip lat pulldowns, 8 reps

good Happy

iv found that the task of finding a reliable training partner is impossible

I think your theory on squats is about right! T.B.H i have only just got my head around the whole thing and realised not to be scared anymore! lol. We have been through de-load after de-load trying slightly different tech each time, scabs on our backs which actually stop'd us from doing squats for a short while. We went for a session with a guy near us who put us right on a couple of things. It is the hardest technique i think to get right! Stick at it though man, i am!Happy

That's just squats mate. Every rep feels hard, sometimes even the warmups, yet somehow they still move.
Can you punch/drill more holes in the belt? Space them like the current ones and you won't weaken it significantly.
