Member 3935, 213 posts SQ 110, BP 80, DL 140330.0 kgs @ 97kgs UnEq | so i like doing workouts in blocks as anyone reading this would probably have guessed, lets me work on a few things at a time. last block was all about getting back into the swing of working out after something of a lay off, build up my work tolerance again and start really drilling my form, and i feel i hit all those goals. goals for this block are to focus on driving my weights up and start hitting some PB's. because of this ill be reducing the volume and frequency over the last block, doing one top set for each lift and 5-8 warmup sets. template is as follows - # monday squat 1x6 bench 1x6 # wednesday incline bench 1x6 deadlift to 1x2 # friday squat 1x6 bench 1x6 | ||

Appreciate the offer though, although i would point out im a stubborn little get and im keen on making my own mistakes at the minute. Member 3935, 213 posts SQ 110, BP 80, DL 140330.0 kgs @ 97kgs UnEq | incline bench 1x6 @57.5kg deadlift 1x2 @150kg MISSED deadlift 1x2 @150kg MISSED got the first rep in both attempts at the deadlift, so thats a PB of sorts, but i didnt get the double like i wanted, so im counting this as a miss. im going to stick more warm up sets in to maintain some sort of volume, think this will help with hitting these top sets. | ||

Any goals for the remainder of the year ? lol yeah i know it sounds like im just being a bit arrogant here, and your right its probably a lot simpler than im making it, but iv learnt a lot just by reading and noodling around by myself in the past year since i started lifting, and i think thats got to count for something. goals so far are just get through this block and build my numbers up a bit, after that im going to test all my lifts, reassess my programming and then put some real numbers down as goals. | ||

Member 3935, 213 posts SQ 110, BP 80, DL 140330.0 kgs @ 97kgs UnEq | thanks for the input guys, iv run starting strength before for a short while, didnt really give it a proper run and maybe should have, but be honest the routines iv followed so far havent been that different from starting strength. compound lifts, linear progression. i think people are getting abit hung up on me commenting on my form...should probably just post numbers from now on. | ||
