The website for the Anglian Open Bench Press is up at:

http://www.hamiltonsfitness.co.uk/ABench2010.htm

You can enter on-line or download an entry form to post.

Everyone is invited come and compete regardless of your division. It is being held under GBPF rules, if you are not already a GBPF you can download a GBPF membership form from the competition website.

You can also choose to lift equipped or unequipped.

If you have any questions you can post them here or email me on info@hamiltonsfitness.co.uk

This is usually a very well attended competition with a great atmosphere, so hopefully we'll all have a great time again this year.

Looking forward to seeing you there.

Any unequipped 3 lift comps being held at your place in early 2011? I might have a go!

Yes, Wayne we should be having the Anglian Powerlifting Champs early 2011, you can chose to lift equipped or unequipped and use it to qualifiy for either the equipped or unequipped British Championships.

Your first comp doesn't necessarily have to be specifically unequipped Wayne. Remember there is no such thing as 'equipped' powerlifting, only powerlifting. Equipment is, and always has been, optional.

It wouldn't be my 1st comp. I dabbled with powerlifting for a little while before I got into strongman. I was lighter and weaker (especially in the legs) than I am now!

Last week to get your entry forms in for the Anglian Bench Press.

You can either download an entry form, fill in and post or you can enter online and pay by credit/debit card or paypal by clicking here: http://www.hamiltonsfitness.co.uk/ABench2010.htm

We will be broadcasting the competition live online on the competition website, so if you are interested in whether Pinda Singh, Phil Wright or James Jeffries break their British Records then make sure you've got nothing else booked for Sunday October 3rd from 11am.
