As many times have mentioned Shaw is pretty weak presser, it always costs him big points.

This barbell is probably the most comfotable possible compared to axle and log.

Its amazing that the guys can get higher numbers out of a log than a barbell.

They dont. Its a huge difference to have log first event of competition in a closed arena with no heat and so on, compared to 3 rd for a day event in this conditions.
In 2015 WSM max log highest result except Z was 195.

I can press as much, if not more with a log and I hardly do it.

I can lean back and triceps are probably my strong point, compared to shoulders.

If Thor wins, then he’s won Arnolds’s, Europes’s and World’s in the same year which even Big Z has never done

Probably not. Don't think he gets any use out of one.

That makes me sad.
He still has plenty of heart, but theres not much else left in the old dog. I hope he starts just having fun with it and doesn't risk himself chasing a trophy he can't win.
