He got f**ked over as well. Lalas had 19.5 points, Belsak 19, Loz 19 but Belsak did better on log so got into the stones.

f**k sake.
I wonder if any of the athletes that missed out due to the rule changes will kick off?

Hahah of course they won't. They'd just get told to f**k off and not come back.

They should f**k off and not come back IMO, massive risk of injury with silly heat almost every time, sometimes getting badly ill on the food, all to get almost no money, and they have practically turned it into a f**king game show. What's the point??

First time I have ever agreed with the savage.
The pinnacle of our "sport" is a joke.

I agree with everything’s that being said, but ultimately the very top guys always make it through whatever the set up. Like Felix, huge respect for him but he’s not in the top 10 strongmen of the world and shouldn’t really be in the final

Imagine the Olympic 100m final 2nd and 3rd places having a 'triple-jump off' to see who wins silver. This kind of double or quits stuff belongs on 'Bullseye', not a serious sport.

It's not a serious sport. As much as it pains me to say that.

Based on what?
He had an exceptionally hard group and were it not for the stupid stone off he would have made it through, how then should he not be there?

Exactly. He would have beaten JF Caron who is widely regarded as top 5(or very close to) in the world.

Based on past competitions. He would struggle to make top 5 in the UK now.
His group was hard and he did really well. I agree on that particular heat he earned second place. Surprised me for sure and I’m sure many others. But he’s not in the top 10 guys in the world.
I’m sure I read in the thread Paul Smith should have had the invite over Felix anyway?
No disrespect to Felix at all, but he’s not in the top 10 strongest men in the world

Precisely my initial point mate. One way or another the very top guys make it through to the final, just as Caron did

This part is true.
