SUPER YOKE

Not all times announced, argh. Going in pairs.

McElroy 12.25 seconds

Steele 11.15

Tom not announced, way slower than Steele

Luke 11.58

Brunning a lot slower than Luke

Terry 10.24 sprint

Page very slow by comparison

SMITH 12.88 inc 2 second penalty for sliding the yoke

Nowicki slower, put yoke down once near end

Bishop crazy acceleration, "in 2nd place in event so far" (time not announced)

Felix slower

HICKS 8.61 holy christ

Hall 10.02

I am sitting immediately behind the athletes and it looked like Paul Smith had balance issues - the front of the yoke was sitting very low.

Hall complaining of low back strain after deadlift.

Hixxy is king!

Event finished at 19:10.

Hicks doing great..bodes well for max log at Europe's.

Ed, Z, Hicks and Thor all on max log.
AvatarMJG
It's stupid them not actually telling the crowd the times.
JonnyR
Go HICKS!!!!

Looked like sheer exhaustion rather than anything more worrying. Shame about the penalty on his yoke.

So Hall 1 point above Hicks after 3 events?

Would love Hix to snatch it.
His Instagram "part time strongman". Statically incredible and living a full time job (like many others) but if you ask about Hix outside of absolute hard-core fans, people will scratch their heads. Such is the nature of self promotion.

Standings have briefly been on a screen. Only caught first five.

Hall 38

HICKS 36

Bishop 29

Terry = 23

PAUL SMITH = 23

Where is Ben Joyce when you need him?

2 pts according to strength asylum.

Just saw the yoke vid, Ed a little lucky not to be penalised for sliding. And obvious complaints of a back issue as he crossed the line.

LOADING MEDLEY (objects into skip some way away)

2 x sandbags @ 125kg each

2 x really fat barrels @ 135kg each

1 x tyre @ 115kg

Many times not announced. Lifting in pairs again.

Page 56.00 seconds

Nowicki 50.86 seconds

Brunning much slower

Tom 46.97

Paul Smith slower

Luke 42.12

McElroy slow, fumbled barrel

Felix beats Steele

Steele clearly in tremendous pain - injured hip on second item but finished anyway, obvious struggle

Terry 45.93

Bishop 46.32

Hall vs HICKS an incredible battle. Hicks faster on first item. Then Hall led. Hall fumbled a sandbag. Neck and neck into tyre. Hall gets hands clear first. Neither time announced.

Finished at 19:55.

Have to say Hicks looks awesome and that yoke my god absolutely destroyed it, shame Loz isn't competing as would have loved to see a race between the two!

Hicks looks like he’s raised his game massively. Great to see him doing so well and pushing one of the very best
