Member 4601, 118 posts	This was a great day out, where was everyone!? We've finally got an expo dedicated to strength sports rather than male beauty pageants but if we as a community don't go down and support it's going to be a struggle to convince exhibitors it's worth their time coming. We have a real chance here to forge our own path and stop being just a side show at Body Power! Today we saw Hixxy set a new British log record and numerous powerlifting records were set with more to follow some come down and show your support for the athletes and the organisers so this event can get bigger and bigger each year focusing on what we in the strength world want and need to grow the sport!!

Its a good idea but strength sports are still very niche! Even if every single powerlifter and strongman in the North West attended it wouldn't be that many people.

It was such a good idea and I'm really glad Dan and Ben went for it, I hope they decide to do another year because it could be an amazing thing for the strength sport scene
