Yoke
Max dead
Stones
Overhead medley

Those events could hardly be better for Terry
AvatarJamieG
Yep.

Is Terry still the number 1 truck puller on whole of Kazakhstan?

Between him and Thor. Both are probably lighter than last year, so others may have caught them. Will be an interesting event. Lalas shocked everyone last year in the truck pull due to a 'smaller' guy doing so well in it.

Mikeneto said:Just glad Koklyaev is in there. He will make it a better final(if he makes it) with there being a max deadlift and OH medley. He seems to be much bigger and stronger than ever, would be great to see where he is at.

With the WSM final only being an hour and they usually just follow the top performances and the lower down guys you rarely see in the final. At least with Koklyaev you will see his deadlift and OH medley because they will be at a very good standard.

I just hope this year they don't rush through the OH medley with there being so many great pressers.

With the yoke I hope they just put all 10 in a line like they did in 2011(I think), so you get to see it all and more time to show other events. I also think it makes it look better as an event.

Agree with this. Are there any recent vids that Misha has put out? I heard he's put on some pounds and wanted to see where his training lifts were at but no luck on youtube...

I think one recent vid he randomly snatched about 200kg for the fun of it, months and months after not snatching at all.
Also another where he played football with a 40kg kettle bell Happy

Gotta love him Grin

looks at though the first day of the final is Frame, truck pull, then super yoke.

Does it strike anyone else as odd to have those three in one day!?

Anyone who has been rewatching old eposods of WSM will notice how open the field was back in the 90s early 2000s.

It was great to not know who would win, watching Ahola come last then first in events one after the other and Samuelsons and Karsons simular performence.

This year is in a way simular Im very pleased to say. Not so much with consistancy but with standard of atheletes,(please forgive my spelling)
Who could seperate our to Brits from Slav, his little mate the dangerous Lalas, Brian and the other Amecans.

This years WSM will be a nail bitter till the end, just like back in the day. This is how it was and how it was sussposd to be.

Having said all that-Come on UK. Happy
