lol deadlift.

Great wsidom, mmm. not really, forever is a long long long time. What I meant was that I doubt we will see it in our lifetimes, 200/1000.10000 years? Wouldnt be against it.

The deadlift has increased about 55kgs in 32 years. Now, that may be mainly down to better drugs, better training, more emphasis on the deadlift, equipment and more competitors in general(hence tapping into the gene pool more), but better drugs will come along, more competitors will likely come along and like someone else said, ever is a very long time. Unless the world and everyone dies that it Tongue

I think ever would translate into 5 billion years as that's when our sun goes bye bye...but with that maybe we would have colonised another planet with less gravity so on the bright side...pun...it would be easier lol..obviously that's if some other apocalyptic event deos not occer first :-) :-) :-) :-)

I think unless some other drugs come out which can push limits further we are closing in on the human limit. I can imagine 470-480 but not 500.

But have drugs advanced that much in the past 15 years? In 2000 the worlds strongest man was lucky to pull 370kg and log 160kg, now 470kg and 228kg. How long do you think humans will live for? Would have go exstinct pretty damn soon to not hit 500kg and 250kg.

Agreed. A few years ago, 200 logs just weren't happening. Nowadays, 200 is the lower end of WSM. I reckon a 250kg log could happen before 2020.

Max log - I'd say 200 wasn't all that special in WSM anymore. It seems a minimum nowadays.

With the exception of Savatinov (because I have never heard of him) that sounds about right. Looks like they can all reach the finals. Realistically, who else could have hit a 200 log? Pudzianowski and Taylor. Could Kaz have done it?
