Sports an extremely muscular arse. Member 38, 6253 posts | Monday 31st August Bench Press - Upto 130kg x 1 ... 132.5kg x 1 ... 135kg x missed halfway up Incline Press - 60kg x 3, 3, 3 Hammer Row - 170kg x 10, 10, 10 DB. Bench - 25kg's x 10, 10, 10 Weirdest thing; apart from the last rep, it definitely feels harder lowering the weight in the Bench than it does pressing it back up. That's 2.5kg up from last time and 135kg isn't impossible therefore, rock on! Guy in the gym who shouts and moans way too much through his session, and who I generally thought was a complete attention-seeking ass came upto me and complimented me on my Bench technique and told me 140kg was definitely in the bag soon. I felt kinda bad.

Sports an extremely muscular arse. Member 38, 6253 posts | Tuesday 1st September Squat - Upto 160kg x 1 Front SQ - 100kg x 1, no thanks Arched GMs - 140kg x 3, 3, 3 1 Leg Split Squats - BW x 10+10, 10+10, 10+10 Uninspiring today, just keeping the body intact after the inner ham/groin injury. Still fairly tired from that last 4-5 week of workouts sans rest, so I might ride this week out and take next week light as well.

Sports an extremely muscular arse. Member 38, 6253 posts | Sunday 6th August - Deload Bench Press - Up to 100kg x 1 ... 80kg x 6 Hammer Row - 120kg x 10, 10, 10 DB. Bench - 20kg's x 10, 10, 10 Left shoulder is still a little screwy, could do with some more rest. I'll try and stay off anything too heavy this week and hopefully I should be good to go for next week. If not i'll have to sub out the Bench for a bit, might do some 2Boards. Anyway, taking it easy again this week.

Sports an extremely muscular arse. Member 38, 6253 posts | Monday 7th August - Deload Squat - Upto 160kg x 3, 3 GMs - 120kg x 3 Leg press - 280kg x 10 Standing Abs - Stack x 10 Jackhammers - 10, 6 Hmmm I was considering a short cycle of Squats ramping upto a maximum from reps, something like this: Week 1 - 2 x 3 Week 2 - 2 x 2 Week 3 - Deload Week 4 - 1 x 2 Week 5 - 1 x 1 Week 6 - Deload ...instead of my usual '1 x 1' squat workout! But todays workout made me remember why I don't like reps. I may just skip the reps and do my usual singles ramping up to a max every 6 weeks or so. I mean, it's done me alright in the past, right?

Sports an extremely muscular arse. Member 38, 6253 posts | Thursday 10th September - Deload Front SQ - Up to 100kg x 3 Sumo's - 140kg x 3 RDLs - 100kg x 5 Hammer Kelso's - 120kg x 20 Good, nice and light and very quick. I'm feeling back on top of things. I tried doing the Fronts using straps attached to the bar (and I hold the loose end) felt really quite good. Assuming i'll be power squatting around 220k+ I'm thinking a decent weight for this would be 160kg after Squats right? Back to the heavy stuff on Sunday.
