Competition Information

UNIT 20 CLASSIC - HEAVY AND HEAVIER

This is the next strongman comp that'll be held at Unit 20. It'll take place on Saturday 12th March 2011. Events are as follows (times/distances tbc)

Heavy

Axle - 105kg for reps
MAX 15\" Deadlift - SUITS ALLOWED - see www.strengthshop.co.uk , straps permitted - 3 attempts, fail and you\'re out
Yoke - 320kg - 10.8m
Frame carry - 300kg - 12m
Inch DB - 53kg for reps

Heavier

Axle - 120kg for reps
MAX 15" Deadlift - SUITS ALLOWED - see www.strengthshop.co.uk, straps permitted - 3 attempts, fail and you're out
Yoke - 370kg - 10.8m
Frame carry - 350kg - 12m
Inch DB - 64kg for reps

We're looking to take 15 guys max for each weight and the usual £15 entry fee applies. It is at Unit 20's discretion who competes and anyone trying to glory hunt in the lighter comp will be moved up to the heavier one. Anyone wanting to take part please PM Brian/Buzz or I.

We'll start taking comp fee's in the new year and have a closing date around end of January.
