has anyone got a telephone number for a good powerlifting gym in ashington, im up there next week and need somewhere to train, I have been to a few comps up there but for the life of me cant remember what the place was called or where it was

Hirst Welfare Centre, Alexandra Road, Ashington, Northumberland NE63 9HF01670 857810
It's definitely the best place to train in that area, I think you can sign in as a guest pretty easily.

Just been nosey here! Could you let me know what you think of Hirst and what the set up is like? Number of benches, squat racks, Olympic bars etc and whether they allow chalk?
