What's your thoughts on one legged drills? Member 1725, 4343 posts SQ 250, BP 125, DL 272.5647.5 kgs @ 111kgs UnEq | a good session on the rack is 5 seconds on 5 seconds off x 5 then go down the block do all your gears with 1 min to recover between gears. great session for racing as it can be the difference from getting dropped and hanging on little 5 second efforts your going to love racing mate | ||

Went out and did 43 miles with the middle 25 at a decent clip last night. To be fair, the average speed was only 20mph but I had to work like hell to keep it at that. Considering the training and work I've had this week I was very pleased with that. | ||

Yes mate, watched highlights Sunday although missed yesterday. More interested in Tirreno this year though. Went out and did my 5x15 seconds, 5x1 minute, 2x2.5 mile intervals yesterday. Ended up doing 60 miles in the day. Did this morning's commute single speed in a fairly heavy gear. Clocking up some good training at the moment. | ||

Went out and did 60 miles yesterday and 55 today. Want to clock 1000 for the month even with the rest week. Reckon I'm 6-8 weeks away from the fittest I've been. | ||

As I thought they are completely twisted and it's causing the problems all the way up through my lat and into my neck. Some brutal manipulation and she freed up my right hip quite nicely. Reckons it will take a few weeks of adjustments to get it to stay open but as I teach her son she only charged me £20 so more than happy to keep up the treatment. | ||

Was meant to be racing on 27th April but it clashes with a mates 30th. There will be plenty after that though as we have races pretty much every Tues, Wed, Thurs, Sat and Sun, often with multiple races to choose from. Might try and do some time trialling in April too. Going back to the osteo on Wednesday and if she is happy then I'm going to get a pro bike fit booked for ASAP. Today - went out and did my first century of the year. Bang on 100miles. None of it was especially quick but I did the first 78 miles with only two piss stops and nothing else. Pretty battered now but pleased to get one in before end of march and that takes me to over 1000miles in the month. | ||

I've had a back issue for about 2 years. It mainly just flares up when I'm sitting in my car but I do ache after a long-ish bike ride. I'm sure it's related to my hips. Anyway I've been to a couple of specialists (with varying effects) but never to an osteopath. | ||
